Punjab Desk (Munish Anand) – 19.11.2024: Terrorists killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 9 fear-based oppressors and 8 security staff were killed in an experience with security powers in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. At least nine militants and eight security personnel were killed in a fierce encounter between security forces and militants in Pakistan’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa late on Monday. The encounter took place during an anti-militancy operation in Tirah Maidan valley of Khyber district.
Terrorist Attack: Terrorists killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lashkar-e-Islam was also killed
According to sources, two important commanders of Lashkar-e-Islam were also killed during this operation. 7 security personnel and 6 terrorists have been injured in the encounter. The security forces were deployed at three different points and the operation continued for several hours. Local sources said some civilians in the vicinity were also injured in the operation. Security forces have intensified anti-terror operations. The death toll and the number of injured could rise as the operation is still underway.
Such incidents are common in Pakistan’s restive northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Last month, diplomats from China, Russia, and several other countries were attacked by terrorists. The terrorists had targeted the convoy of a foreign diplomat, in which one security personnel was killed. However, no foreigner was injured in the attack.
A few days ago, a suicide bombing was carried out at a station in Pakistan’s Balochistan, in which the main target was security personnel. around 17 security workers and a few regular citizens were killed in the assault. Most of those killed were Pakistan Army training officers who were on their way home after completing their training. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the Balochistan attack. It was carried out using a human bomb.
