Terror attack in Turkey: Video surveillance footage shows terrorists armed with guns taking part in a deadly attack in Turkey.
A major terror attack in Turkey saw gunmen storm the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) near Ankara, killing five people and wounding many more. The Interior Ministry reported that 22 people were injured in the attack, three of whom are in critical condition and in intensive care. The attackers, a woman and two men, were neutralised and were reportedly recorded on security cameras carrying out the deadly attack at the aerospace industry.
Discussions with Vladimir Putin
No claim has been made for the attack yet, but Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated that it was highly likely carried out by Kurdish militants. “The manner in which this action was conducted is most likely connected to the PKK,” he said, in reference to the organization engaged in a long-standing insurgency against the Turkish state. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was in Russia for discussions with Vladimir Putin, denounced it as a “atrocious” attack on Turkey’s defense industry.
Complete assault was captured on CCTV
The complete assault was captured by CCTV cameras positioned on the streets and the TUSAS headquarters. The footage reveals armed individuals advancing towards the offices shortly before the attack. Footage of the terrorist incident, rapidly circulating on various social networking platforms, captures the explosions and gunfire responsible for claiming the lives of five individuals in Turkey on Wednesday. The video depicts an individual armed with a firearm sprinting towards the parking lot of the main office. The Turkish government has not disclosed the identities of the attackers, and no terrorist group has taken credit for the attack. A video captured during the terrorist attack depicts two armed individuals exiting a yellow vehicle on a public street and opening fire with assault rifles on pedestrians. An individual walking past collapses, possibly wounded in the shooting incident.
